The Allen-Bradley 1444-DYN04-01RA is a Dynamic Measurement Module from Rockwell Automation’s Dynamix™ 1444 Series, designed for advanced machine condition monitoring and protection.

The 1444-DYN04-01RA provides four dynamic measurement inputs, two TTL speed (tachometer) inputs, and one onboard relay output. It supports synchronous and asynchronous dynamic measurements as well as position measurements, making it suitable for comprehensive monitoring of rotating machinery.

This module integrates directly with ControlLogix® and PlantPAx® systems through dual-port EtherNet/IP with Device Level Ring (DLR) support. It is designed for use with the 1444-TB-A terminal base and Dynamix RPC sensor sets, forming a scalable and tightly integrated condition monitoring architecture.

Functional Description

The 1444-DYN04-01RA acquires high-resolution vibration and dynamic signals from accelerometers, velocity probes, and proximity probes. The two TTL speed inputs allow accurate shaft speed and phase reference measurements for advanced diagnostics.

EtherNet/IP connectivity enables real-time data exchange with PLC and DCS systems, while the integrated relay output allows local alarm or trip signaling without external hardware. The dual-port Ethernet design simplifies network topology and supports resilient ring architectures.
