Product Overview

The BMXNOC0401 is an Ethernet communication module from Schneider Electric designed for the Modicon M340 automation platform. It belongs to the Modicon X80 family and enables reliable Ethernet TCP/IP and Modbus TCP communication between the controller, distributed devices, and supervisory systems.

This module integrates four Ethernet RJ45 ports and an embedded web server, supporting transparent network communication and simplified diagnostics. It is commonly used in process automation, manufacturing, and infrastructure control systems where stable Ethernet connectivity is required.

While mechanically compatible with X80 racks, its primary application remains within the M340 platform. For long-term system expansion or higher performance Ethernet architectures, Schneider Electric recommends migration to Modicon M580 platforms.
