The Siemens 6GK1503-3CD00 is a PROFIBUS Optical Link Module OLM/G12-EEC designed to extend and stabilize PROFIBUS DP networks using glass fiber optic transmission. It converts electrical RS-485 PROFIBUS signals into optical signals, allowing reliable communication over long distances and in environments with high electromagnetic interference.
