Woodward 5466-355 Remote Transceiver Interface Remote Module

Description

The 5466-355 is a Remote Chassis Transceiver developed by Woodward specifically designed for CPU 68040 systems. This module facilitates the transmission and reception of control, data, and address information between the Main XCVR module and Remote I/O Chassis via cables. It is essential to install this module in each Remote I/O Chassis connected to the Main Chassis. The Remote XCVR module interfaces with the chassis' VME bus for communication.

• Installation Requirements:
  • No switches or LEDs on the Remote XCVR module.
  • Except for the last expansion chassis in the chain, all expansion chassis should use the Remote XCVR module without termination resistors.
  • The module must be installed in Slot 1 of each chassis.
  • The Remote XCVR module with termination resistors is required for the final expansion chassis in the chain, also installed in Slot 1.
