The Emerson EZ1080-RM-00-010 is an advanced 8 mm eddy current displacement sensor designed for non-contact monitoring of shaft vibration, position, and eccentricity in turbomachinery. It is widely used in steam turbines, gas turbines, hydro turbines, compressors, pumps, and industrial fans.
This probe uses eddy current induction to measure the gap between the sensor tip and a conductive shaft surface without physical contact.
