The MTL5541 Repeater Power Supply from Honeywell’s MTL5500 Series is designed for intrinsically safe process control applications. It provides a fully floating DC supply to energize conventional 2-wire or 3-wire 4–20 mA transmitters located in hazardous areas, while repeating the current in a separate safe-area circuit. This ensures accurate signal monitoring and control without compromising safety.
Supporting HART® communication, the MTL5541 allows bi-directional digital communication over 2-wire transmitters, enabling device configuration, diagnostics, and performance verification. The unit is DIN rail mountable with plug-in connectors for rapid installation and simplified maintenance.
